In addition to his accomplishments as a Law School Admission Test tutor and the developer of the MasterLSAT test-prep method, Nate Morris is a talented musician who double-majored in saxophone jazz performance and film scoring at the Berklee College of Music. Nate Morris’ history as a saxophonist includes a stint in the Grammy-nominated Project Grand Slam.

Led by founder, composer, and bassist Robert Miller since 2007, Project Grand Slam is a rock, jazz, and Latin fusion band based in New York City. Over the years, the band has released roughly a dozen albums, including 2023’s It’s Alive!

True to its name, It’s Alive! contains 13 songs recorded live at the SteelStacks cultural center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and the Nisville Jazz Festival in Nis, Serbia. The album has received widespread acclaim from media organizations that range from the venerable national jazz publication Melody Maker to the trendy local arts blog MobYorkCity. Hollywood Digest critic Garth Thomas contends that music fans, both in and out of the fusion genre, are “bound to feel something” from It’s Alive!
